asset vrs highways exhibition stand

Asset VRS and Hardstaff Barriers recently merged companies approached us, their brief was to design a joint exhibit together at Highways UK 2018. This was the main lead for designing the stand. The plans had to be equally suited to both brands.

As well as designing and building the stand, we were also asked to produce supporting artwork such as neutrally branded posters which would act as fact sheets about the products, a joint branded invitation and a joint branded brochure which features both logos and products from both brands.

We started this project by creating plans for the frame work which would accentuate the products on display and highlight the artwork and specs on the factsheets/posters. The display also needed to be clearly branded between each company whilst also not clashing with each other.

The plans were proposed to the client in the form of technical drawings and also as 3D digital drawings (CGI). The plans featured a square centre mast head with the two-brand logos alternating on each side. This gave us space for four of the products to be placed on each of the corners of the stand area. Above the products were to be display units which would feature a poster on one side and an image of the product in-situ on the other.

Highways UK Invitation

The invitation was designed to be A5 size and attached to an email inviting people to the joint stand at the show. Both companies emailed this out so the design had to include information and logos from both.

It was important that the stand number and event information were most prominent as they were what the openers of the email needed to know first. The design of the invitation followed on from the joint brochure. The pictures also had an overlay placed on top of them so that the colour of each brand were clearly shown and made the design aesthetically appealing.
