Cowes Sailability Website Refresh

The Undertaking: Cowes Sailability already employed a copy writer so SW1 was able to work alongside them to improve the tone of the site to be more friendly and positive with a text speech feature to make it accessible to more people. We made the site image focused so it was clear to the viewer how the club helped people with specially adapted boats for wheelchairs.

To keep their members up to date with events and news the copy writer creates a newsletter and translates that onto the website blog. SW1 helped them to set up an email for their newsletter to tie in with the blog that would be emailed to members once a month will snippets of the news stories which were available to read in full on the website. Plus, a pop-up window was employed asking for sign-ups to the newsletter.

The site also received more organic traffic and a growth in the utilisation of the text speech feature.
